Vivienne Narracott was born May 23, 1922.

Although her actual birthday was last month, Viv's children decided to hold a party weekend for her during the Jubilee Weekend so that family from all over the world could make the journey to help her celebrate.

On Saturday, a very successful party was hosted by the Giltar Hotel for friends and family. Despite having been very ill less than two months ago, Viv was the life and soul of the party and chatted to groups from her gentle exercise class and Hanover Court, as well as getting to know her many great-grandchildren.

On Sunday her daughter, Heather, had all the family at her home for a barbecue. This really was a family affair, with everyone contributing to make the afternoon a great success.

Viv has been totally overwhelmed by the kind comments in her many cards, the gifts, and the long distances that people had come to help her celebrate her special day. She wanted to say thank you to everyone for their kindness.
