St Issell's Church, Saundersfoot, was the picturesque setting for the wedding of Mr. Ian Duncan Cowell, of Long Sutton, Hampshire, and Miss Katherine Tara White, elder daughter of Tony and Sally White of Saundersfoot.
The groom is a strategy consultant for the City of London, while the bride works for American Express as a marketing manager.
Given away by her father, the bride looked stunning in a dress by Lucy Lin. She carried a beautiful bouquet of anemones, roses and daisies.
The bridesmaids were Sarah-Jane Beverley, a friend of the bride, Sarah White, the bride's sister, and Bridget Shanklin, the bride's cousin. They wore dresses in midnight blue.
The best man was Chris Newbold, who flew in from Paris for the wedding. The ushers were Steven White, brother of the bride, Nicholas Cowell, brother of the groom, and Peter Zwinkels, a friend of the bride and groom.
The service was conducted by Canon Michael Butler. The bride entered the church to Handel's Trumpet Voluntary played by Tim Bourne accompanied by Mick Gulliford. During the service, Marilyn Allen sang solo, and there were special readings by Rhian Harry and Bryan White.
The reception was at Treberth Farm, Sardis, which was followed by a Twmpath and a pig roast, and fireworks.
After a brief honeymoon in Ireland, the bride and groom returned to compete at Henley Royal Rowing Regatta.
Kate and Iain are setting up home in Muswell Hill, London.
