Oakwood Theme Park is set to host its biggest ever ‘Halloween Spooktacular’ event from Monday to Sunday, October 24 to 30.
Designed to terrify visitors of all ages, the Pembrokeshire attraction has unveiled a host of horribly entertaining activities for the half-term holidays.
From a haunted house filled with your worst nightmares and a maze populated with the living dead, to frightful photo opportunities and a Halloween-themed eatery, this year’s Halloween event is set to be the scariest to date.
“Halloween is a great chance for everyone to enjoy getting scared and this year we have put together a host of spooky new events and activities which are designed to do just that,” said Oakwood Theme Park’s Phil Verbinnen.
“We’re looking forward to giving our visitors goosebumps and providing them with some real heart-in-the-mouth moments!” he added.
Dare to enter the ‘House of Horrors’ and face your phobias. Whether its clowns, the dentist, spiders or snakes, Oakwood has assembled our darkest fears and brought them altogether under one roof. Hop aboard for a journey to confront your demons.
Beware the ‘Maze of Lost Souls’ where nothing is quite what it seems. People have started acting extremely strangely and suddenly the exit appears a long way away. The challenge is to find your way back outside unscathed.
After all those thrills and chills there’s the chance to enjoy a well-earned break and bite to eat in the all-new ‘Head and Hand Restaurant’. Described as a ‘full-bodied’ experience, a selection of unusual new dishes will be on offer, but just take care you don’t end up on the menu!
Oakwood’s team of actors will be joining their resident dragon mascot Scorch to set up a series of ‘Fright Zones’ throughout the park where visitors can enjoy scares and selfies with a variety of lively undead characters.
For younger visitors there is a Pumpkin Trail to follow, frightful face-painting and the chance to discover ‘The Curse of Skull Rock’. Enjoy a spooky splashing time on this fun wet ride.
All visitors are invited to join in the fun by coming dressed as their own favourite Halloween characters.
