Members of Tenby Round Table elected to put themselves through a hair-raising experience this week, but all for a good cause. A charity chest wax was staged at the De Valence, with Round Table chairman Ian 'Yobbler' Thomas and his fellow fund-raisrers, Matt Broadhurst, Suen Andrews and Adrian Andrews, all putting themselves through the pain barrier to raise money for the 'Gareth Scotcher Trust Fund'. On duty to expertly perform the delicate task were Tracey Howard and Jess Ashby, of Lifestyle Beauty, The Mews, Upper Frog Street, which has been in business in Tenby for three years. "Matt and Tracey came up with the idea, as they thought it would be a fun way to raise some money for such a worthwhile local cause... even if painful," laughed Ian, who revealed that the Round Tablers had managed to raise around £1,000 in sponsorship for the fund.
