This was the scene captured on camera by local resident Viv Walters in The Strand, Saundersfoot, on Tuesday morning, after gulls had again created havoc by attacking bags of rubbish in the street. Residents and businesses leave their refuse bags out at night for collection the following morning from about 7.45 am onwards, but unfortunately they are a sitting target for the scavenging birds. "As can be seen from the photograph, it was clearly a frustrating sight for the person faced with the job of cleaning up the mess prior to the arrival of the collection vehicle," said Viv. "What an advert for our summer visitors."
