Regarding your front page article on calling for a cull on our seabirds, did I read it wrong? Did not the town councillors ask for people's opinions on the so-called 'culling'? So now they're complaining of 'putting their heads on blocks and taking the flak'. In my letter in reply, headed 'Leave our birds alone', my name and address was supplied. However, I applaud the idea to trial gull-proof waste bags.
