The next walk in this year's series of Guided Walks from Railway Station is tomorrow (Saturday). Led by Mike Thorn, the circular walk from Manorbier Station takes in some of south Pembrokeshire's prettiest villages. Heading north, over the Ridgeway, to St. Florence and then down to the coast at Lydstep and across to Manorbier, the nine-mile route will give walkers the opportunity to enjoy some spectacular views of the Pembrokeshire coast and countryside.
The walk begins at Manorbier Station at 11.51 am. Everyone is welcome to attend. Further information is available from Sarah Worby on (01834) 860965, e-mail [email protected]">[email protected].
The walks are organised by SPARC/PLANED as part of the Greenways initiative, which aims to promote access for all to Pembrokeshire's unique and beautiful countryside by environmentally sustainable means. The Greenways initiative is part funded by the European Union Objective 5b Rural Wales (ERDF) programme and the Countryside Council for Wales. The annual Guided Walks from Railway Stations programme receives additional assistance from Wales and West Passenger Trains.
