The Tenby and Pembrokeshire branch of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and its many helpers have had a busy summer.

As well as weekly stalls on Saundersfoot harbour, there have been three flag days in Haverfordwest and Milford Haven, Tenby, Saundersfoot and Narberth, and in Pembroke and Pembroke Dock.

Collections have also taken place at various stores throughout the county and a stall was also held at Saundersfoot carnival and one at the Sunday summer markets in Tenby.

The good friends who are too numerous to list and who have provided so much invaluable help are thanked most sincerely by the branch members. Gratitude is also expressed to all the generous folk who support the various fundraising events.

A busy autumn is also planned with the annual sponsored cycle ride taking place on Pendine Beach on Sunday, October 12. More riders are needed, so if you would like a sponsor form please contact branch secretary, Eva Rich, on 812868.

A coffee morning is planned for November 6, at the Cambrian Hotel, Saundersfoot, and a flower arranging demonstration with refreshments at St Johns Church Hall will be held on Thursday, November 27. Members look forward to seeing friends and supporters at these events.
