The chairperson and members of the Tenby and Pembrokeshire fund-raising branch of the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association wish to extend sincere thanks to Whitland and District Male Choir, their musical director, Juliet Rossiter and accompanist Hefina Jones, for an excellent concert at St. Johns Church, Tenby, last week.

The event was well attended and raised the excellent sum of £522, which will go towards training guide dogs for visually impaired people, giving them mobility and independence in safety.

Special thanks also go to the elders of St. Johns for the use of the church, John Hurlow for his help with the arrangements, Winifred, Brenda, Elly, Sue and Sonya for assistance with the refreshments, and John Butland for providing the milk.

All this help is much appreciated, and thanks also go to everyone who supported the concert and for helping to make the event such a success.
