Whitland was very wet on December 12 when the Griffon Choir travelled eastwards to sing seasonal music in its St. Mary's Church.
After a warm welcome, choristers helped bring the real message of Christmas with carols, some of which were very new, others familiar and one or two, the origins of which were lost in time.
Marianne Osborne (soprano) charmed as she sang excerpts from 'Les Miserables' and then two ringing carols, 'Joy to the world' and, 'Hark! The herald angels.'
After the concert, it was a delight to meet with the congregation and enjoy a real Christmas party with great food.
