The Griffon Choir have been providing pleasure to the community and support to local charities for almost 50 years. On Tuesday evening at 8 pm they will perform an Easter Concert of Sacred and Secular music at Tenby’s St. Johns Church, supporting the HOPE MS Therapy Centre (based at the Honeyborough Business Park, Neyland).

The HOPE Centre was established in 1986 by an entrepreneurial and enthusiastic group to provide ‘Oxygen Therapy’ to family and friends suffering with Multiple Sclerosis. Twenty years ago, a Physiotherapy Department was established in the Centre with both ‘oxygen’ and/or ‘physio’ being available - now - to a wider number of people throughout the county, i.e. for recovering Stroke, circulatory conditions, sports injuries, neurological conditions and MND.

For more information, contact the Centre on 01646 600384 or e: [email protected].

The Griffons will sing a variety of pieces suitable for Holy Week and Easter, including well-known classics such as Mozart’s Ave Verum, old favourites like All in the April Evening, and some pieces in Welsh, including Robat Arwyn’s Anfonaf Angel.

There will be no entry fee, but a collection shall be made after the concert for this worthwhile charity. All welcome.
