Greenhill's first match was against Pembroke. Greenhill were a bigger side, but Pembroke were very quick. Greenhill were slow to start and gave Pembroke a lead. The Tenby team gradually pulled this back and going into the final period both teams were level. Greenhill gave way a deliberate foul and Pembroke had two shots to win the match. This they did and now Greenhill had to win the rest of their games and rely and someone beating Pembroke.
The Greenhill v Taskers game was nip and tuck all the way through, with Greenhill edging it 4-2.
Next came Maridunum, the favourites. The Greenhill team got stuck into them and, with Steve Ive giving their Welsh international a tough time and Adam Walsh shooting magnificently, they eventually beat them quite convincingly.
Last came Milford and Greenhill knew they had to win and score a handful of points to stand any chance of winning the tournament.
This they did and won the tournament on points difference by one point.
This was a marvellous win for Greenhill, with seven of the team still eligible next year.
