Ysgol Greenhill School, Tenby have two showjumping teams: The Greenhill Wonders (Kelsey Cornick, Levi Hay and Tilly Partridge) and The Greenhill High Flyers (Chloe John-Driscoll, Megan Grice, Ffion Andrews and Sally Allen).

These girls have been competing against other schools - including Preseli and Whitland - a few times a month since September. The points they win go into a main UK school board and Greenhill have come top of the Leagues.

Last weekend the qualified for the winter final championship; the Wonders came first both days, jumping 60cm. On Saturday, the High Flyers were placed 2nd at 70cm and 5th at 80cm. Then on Sunday they again came 2nd in the 70cm class and went on to win the championship in the 80cm class.

The girls are very proud of their achievements, which, readers will no doubt agree, deserve as much recognition as football games.
