Green-fingered Tenby Brownies started to plant 36 trees which they had won at The Green on Wednesday.

The event, which launched the resort's Britain in Bloom bid, and also comes during tree planting month, saw the Brownies plant some of the trees which they had won in a draw as a result of collecting vouchers with Sainsbury's.

Seen with them is chairman of Tenby in Bloom, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, and tree advisor, Mayor-elect, Clr. Trevor Hallett, who oversaw the planting.
