Pembrokeshire Greenways and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority have teamed up this summer to stage a series of roadshows promoting ideas for 'car free days out' across the county. The mobile National Park information stand will be displayed on Friday, June 24, at Castle Square, Haverfordwest, and Saturday, June 25, at Narberth's Town Moor car park from 10 am. Greenways officer Kirsty Morris and National Park rangers will be on hand to answer questions and provide free information on how to access the countryside and National Park areas by walking, cycling, hopping on the bus or catching a train. "So if you have a question on local rights of way, want to discuss your local cycle route or fancy a free trip on a coastal bus, pop down and say hello," said Kirsty. "The Car Free Days Out roadshow will be an opportunity for people to access free information on a range of activities. We will be launching our new 'Car Free Days Out Haverfordwest and Narberth' leaflets and will be giving out tickets for a free trip on the coastal buses, free access to National Park events and lots more." The roadshows are being organised as part of the Pembrokeshire Greenways project to promote sustainable access to the countryside. Greenways Partners include: Countryside Council for Wales, National Trust, Pembrokeshire Access Group, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, Pembrokeshire County Council and PLANED.
