It's been a great week for Park House Court Nursing Home, Tenby, celebrating the following success, recorded here in date of achievement:
Three candidates completed and passed the Certificate in Training Skills and Practice, accredited via the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. They were Carol-Anne Swales (activities co-ordinator), Cara Stewart (deputy manager, crèche) and Joni Whitfield (IT manager). Their training officer was Tony Sawyer.
Three overseas carers completed and received their certificates, having completed their Level 3 NVQ in care, supported by Park House Court's City and Guild Accredited Centre. They were Christine Aligaen, Josh Ramalingam and Shijo Mundackal. Their training officer was Shelley Bolton.
Jan Evans and Tony Sawyer were invited to the Welsh Government Senedd Building to support the release of the Time to Care Campaign, discussing its reasoning with Assembly Members. Jan and Tony were the only representatives from the private sector, and shared their thoughts with many of those members who attended.
Lastly, Katie Broadhurst and Cara Stewart gained a lot of credit for the work undertaken with the crèche, and their environmental practices and education programme, 'The most developed in Wales.' The award is awaited that will reflect their effort and will be proudly displayed.
