Graham Jenkins recently raised money for the British Heart Foundation at Kilgetty Sports Club by inviting his family and friends to his 70th birthday celebration.

He was so pleased to see so many attend, even though torrential rain stopped many from visiting his party, and thanks everyone for their donations. He was over the moon with his surprise Bob Marley tribute, a disco and birthday cake from his family,

“I’ve got the best family you could have, I love them all so much,” he said.

“There were times this year I didn’t think I’d make 70, but with the British Heart Foundation nurses from Morriston Hospital I made it,” he added.

As a result of his party, Graham was able to hand over a cheque for £360 to the BHF shop in Knott Square, Carmarthen, who were absolutely delighted with his effort.
