Please may I thank everyone for attending the meeting at Dewing Avenue on January 19, in such awful, wet and windy weather. I think it was extremely positive and special thanks to Kevin Brennan, Nick Ainger and Tony Wales, who despite the weather, spent a lot of time speaking and 'listening' to what the children and adults had to say, and answered all the issues that were raised from the very first committee meeting that I attended, when I addressed committee members of National Parks. I'm looking forward to addressing the committee members once again in February and again raising the issue of children's rights. Being able to correspond through my local paper is the best way of letting everyone involved know how grateful we are for all their time and support.
