The third and final round of the Pembrokeshire Community Buildings Fund - a grant scheme open to any organisations operating a community hall in the county - has opened for applications. The scheme offers between £5,000 and £55,000 of Objective 1 funding for capital projects, and is administered by the county council's economic development division. The third round will close on April 12 and it is anticipated that funding decisions will be made by the authority's cabinet in June. Among the groups already supported are Milford Haven Sea Cadets, St. Martin's Church in Haverfordwest and the Tegryn Welfare Committee. Around £150,000 is available for distribution in the round, although applicants will need to fund 50 per cent of the costs from other sources.
