Templeton School have just received a grant from the International Tree Foundation to plant trees in their school grounds.
The classes in school have recently been re-named, on the theme of trees. So each class has been given the tree appropriate for their name. Rowan, Willow, Maple, Chestnut and Oak trees will be planted and the children will be able to watch them grow as they do.
In the photograph are Mr. Bri Edwards, local secretary of the International Tree Foundation, who organised the purchase and delivery of the trees; Mike Perkins, headteacher, and children from each class, Carmen May, Cerys Jones, Timothy Frost, Ross Chell, Sophie Oldham, Tazmin Taylor, Natasha Wall, Liam Roderick, Ryan Williams and Joshua Reynolds.
