Graham Jessop, has recently returned from a charity cycle ride in Cambodia.
He covered 600km in six days, in temperatures as high as 40 degrees and humidity as much as 80 per cent.
The roads were rough and pot-holed, awash with water following the heavy monsoon rains. Nights were spent in darkness under canvas.
As a result of Graham's hard work and the generosity of his many sponsors, he was able to raise over £6,500 for Macmillan Cancer Relief. He would like to express sincere thanks to all his friends in the area who supported him.
Graham is the husband of Carol, the daughter of the late Mrs. Eira E. M. Thomas JP, and the family are frequent visitors to St. Florence.
The couple have two sons, Nicholas who has just gained a 2(1) in European law at Warwick University, and Alexander who is currently in Thailand on his gap year travels, prior to commencing an engineering degree at Pembroke College, Cambridge, in October.
