The wedding took place at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel on July 28 of Mr. Gareth William Jeffery and Miss Katie Elizabeth John. The groom, a graduate manager with Tesco, is the son of Mrs. Barbara Jeffery, of King Street, Pembroke Dock, while the bride, a teacher, is the daughter of Mr. Adge John, of Sandyhill Park, Saundersfoot, and Mrs. Dods John, of Mount Pleasant, Kilgetty. Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory dress with lilac bodice and beading, and a tulle skirt with matching lilac flower. She carried a bouquet of lilac beads with purple and ivory feathers. Bridesmaids were Cara Collins and Alisha Meal (nieces). Cara wore a lilac dress with ivory insert on the skirt and silver and amethyst beading, while Alisha wore an ivory dress with flower beading on the skirt and a lilac sash. Ring bearer was William Jeffery (nephew). Best man was Eteeq Berki (groom's best friend), while ushers were Abdul Mannon, Aled Davies, Richard Brown (groom's friends) and Rhys John (bride's brother). The ceremony was conducted by Joy Walker. A reception and evening celebration were also held at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel. The couple are making their home at Clos-yr-Allt, Swansea.
