AS reported last week, Shihan Mike O'Brien, 8th Dan, the chief instructor of the Karate Union of Wales, recently attended the new Narberth CP School where Narberth Shotokan Karate Club were holding a course and grading, under the guidance of club instructor Rory Pearce.
As a result, the club has now graded Kayleigh Pearce to 2nd Dan.
Kayleigh, who is 12, is a pupil at Ysgol Dyfryn Taf, and is looking forward to being a junior club instructor.
