I would be grateful if you could find space in your newspaper to pass on my thanks to a couple of anonymous local 'Good Samaritans'.

My father was on holiday in the area last week and was unfortunate enough to have a fall. A couple came to his aid, one of them taking him to hospital while the other went down to the beach to locate other members of the family.

Their prompt action and, more importantly, giving him first aid, saved a difficult situation from becoming far worse and the whole family would like to send them our best wishes and thanks for their kindness.
