New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Pembrokeshire’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Manorbier Youth Hostel, at Manorbier, Tenby, Pembrokeshire was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 27.

And Mr & Mrs Macalast/ Coastal Stay Campsite, at Noddfa Farm, Llanrhian, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire was also given a score of five on August 31.

It means that of Pembrokeshire's 407 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 295 (72%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
