The Welsh Fire Service stroke play championships were held at Machynys golf course near Llanelli.
Winner was John Morris, Tenby Golf Club's current club champion, who is a fulltime firefighter at Pembroke Dock fire station.
John won by two strokes with a gross score of 69, which was three under par.
This success qualifies John to represent Wales in the forthcoming international to be held in Yorkshire.
