Well-known 'Master of the Golf Ball', Claudio Guerrerio, is back home in Tenby fresh from completing the London Marathon.

Nothing special about that, you might think - apart from the fact that Claudio ran the gruelling 26-mile course while juggling a golf ball on the end of a club!

Claudio amazed spectators and even commentators with his control of the golf ball throughout the race, with one saying: "In 23 years, I have never seen anything like this."

Claudio was running for the charity 'Look,' which helps children with impaired vision.

Claudio ran the marathon in five hours 40 minutes, which is a vast improvement on the eight-and-a-half hours it took him to complete the New York Marathon last year.

Claudio has also recently been accepted into the Guinness Book of Records for bouncing a ball on a golf club for one hour and 19 minutes.

He would like to thank all who have helped and encouraged him over the past few years, especially Miguel, Dennis, Pat and all the staff at the Giltar Hotel, where he works, and Loz and Penny, of the Clarence Hotel, Tenby.

He would also like to dedicate his run in the London Marathon to his children, Jack, Emma, Megan and Charlie.

Claudio has never taken a penny from his golf exhibition shows, with all the money going to charities close to him.

The Master of the Golf Ball's dream challenge is to have a face to face golf skill contest against one of the greatest ever golfers, Tiger Woods.

Earlier this week, Claudio gave members of staff at the Observer a quick demonstration of his impressive skills, which had passers-by stopping in amazement.

But when we asked him what his handicap was, he replied: "No comment!"

Claudio is looking for sponsors so he can take his skills across the country and raise more for charity. He can be contacted at the Giltar Hotel most days or through Vicky on 01254 763262, if you wish to donate by post.
