WHEN Mr. and Mrs. Ray Rees from Llawhaden celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in March, they decided they did not want to receive any presents. Instead, they asked friends and family for donations for the Breast Care Unit at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli, where Mrs. Rees had treatment in 2003. Friends and family donated generously and Mr. and Mrs. Rees are seen presenting Mr. Anand, consultant, with a cheque for £1,250, which was greatly appreciated.
