Congratulations to well-known Tenby couple Alun and Joan Morgan (pictured) who are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary tomorrow (Saturday).

Alun Rayner Morgan, a native of Tenby, married Joan Winifed Robson, of Newcastle, at St. George's Church, Jesmond, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, on October 25, 1958.

After honeymooning in Scotland, they immediately moved to Pembrokeshire where Mr. Morgan was in practice as a dental surgeon in Pembroke Dock until 1995.

The couple lived in Pembroke Dock until 1966 when they moved to Nyth Aderyn, North Cliffe, Tenby, where they still live.

The couple, who have two daughters and four grandchildren, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary at a dinner at the Fourcroft Hotel, Tenby, tomorrow, with family and friends, some of whom are travelling from France.
