THE new art exhibition, 'Gold', opened at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery on Friday.

This is a joint exhibition of pictures and jewellery by Jackie Morris and Sara Lloyd-Morris.

Jackie is a well-known artist, writer and illustrator whose pictures have been used by clients such as Radio Times, New Statesman, Greenpeace and Amnesty International, and also to illustrate the imaginings by Robin Hobb, Terry Pratchett and Ted Hughes.

For the most part, Jackie works in watercolour, building up layers of paint to create vibrant paintings.

Over the past few years, she has worked on a series of watercolour and gold leaf paintings, mostly iconic images of animals, using red gold, green gold, moon gold, antique gold, as well as white and yellow.

Sara Lloyd-Morris is a contemporary jeweller. Her new range of jewellery, Earthscape, focuses on the ancient landscape viewed from above and this work led to a collaboration with Jackie Morris, interpreting some of her images from her books and paintings and combining them with this new range.

This sale exhibition runs until Sunday, April 19.
