The National Trust at Stackpole invites you to experiment in outdoor skills and sleep under the stars with a camping experience on July 14 and 15.
Try out some true bush craft with their experienced ranger; learn to light your fire, enjoy wild fire food and build shelters. Enjoy spending the night with all the sights and sounds to be had in the woods at Stackpole.
Wild camping is a great eco friendly way to wind down from the stresses and strains of everyday life. It's quite hard these days to find a quiet spot near the coast without breaking the law or lying in fear of being trampled by cattle! If you fancy a real taste of the great outdoors - away from the mini suburbia of campsites - try wild camping in the woods!
Head ranger Chris Oliver said: "This is a great opportunity to enjoy a true wild camp experience in the great outdoors. It is chance to get out of the house, away from the television and come together as a group and enjoy some real down to earth fun."
Meet at Stackpole Outdoor Learning Centre at 3 pm Saturday, July 14, and the adventures ends at 10 am Sunday, July 15 - bring your own food for dinner to be cooked over the camp fire, breakfast, and your own tent.
Not for the fainthearted; no toilet or bathing facilities available - this is a Bush Camp!
There are limited spaces available, so if you don't want to miss this fantastic experience, please call the National Trust on 01646 661425.
