Sir,
May I, through the pages of your newspaper, challenge your readers to get involved in Go Red for Wales - a campaign to support the work of the Prince's Trust Cymru.
We are asking as many people as possible to register to take part in Go Red for Wales - and in doing so to have fun, fund-raising for the Prince's Trust Cymru through the colour red. All the activities should take place over the weekend of Friday, February 27, to Monday, March 1, so it is a great way to celebrate St. David's Day.
Taking part is really simple and a full fund-raising pack can be obtained by 'phoning 02920 437059 or visiting goredforwales.org. So why not donate to wear red clothes at school or work; serve red food in restaurants and hold raffles with red prizes?
All of the money from the campaign stays in Wales to help the work of the Prince's Trust Cymru with over 5,000 disadvantaged young people in communities across the whole of Wales. Last year, Go Red for Wales raised over £80,000, and we hope that with the support of your readers, we can smash that this year. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, the Principality and the Co-operative Group, all of the funds raised go directly towards the work of the Trust with young people.
I hope to be able to write to you again soon with news of a record-breaking Go Red for Wales!

Head of Commercial,
