On behalf of all the residents of Brooklands Nursing Home, we would like to extend our gratitude to the community councillors of Saundersfoot who recently voted unanimously not to support the planning application for the proposed CAS adjacent to Brooklands Nursing Home.

We share the concerns that the councillors raised with regard to other issues such as a potential danger of pollution into our blue flag beach, the increase in traffic on this main road, posing a real danger of creating an accident blackspot, and the eyesore that this site will be, in its proposed location on the main gateway into our beautiful village of Saundersfoot and town of Tenby.

At least our local councillors will stand by their convictions and be a voice that is representative of the people in their community. It is a glimmer of hope for us and our relatives during this very stressful time that the councillors have recognised that this is a wholly inappropriate site for this type of facility. Thank you to all involved in the decision.
