Members from Pembrokeshire Girlguiding recently visited Withybush Hospital to officially present DVD players that had been bought for the children's ward.

The money had been donated from their 100 years of Guiding celebration service held at St. David's Cathedral last year.

County Commissioner for Pembrokeshire, Mrs. Helen Perrett, said: "Girlguiding Pembrokeshire are really pleased to be able to support the children's ward at Withybush Hosptial by purchasing these DVD players. 

"It's important that when children come into hospital they are still able to do some of the things they enjoy at home, and watching their favourite films can provide some continuity."

Alongside Helen in the picture are Jodie from Saundersfoot Guides and Abbey from Haverfordwest Brownies, along with chair of Guiding Development, Sian, and the children's ward playleader, who was pleased to receive the DVD players.
