Girlguiding members from all sections across the county enjoyed an international fun day at Withybush Showground recently as part of their Thinking Day celebrations.

Activities included singing, dancing, crafts, games and making pancakes which was very popular with the girls!

As part of the celebrations, girls were asked to bring a donation towards Kiya survivors which is a UK-Peruvian charity operating in Peru.

They run educational centres catering for young people with special-needs and those who have suffered abuse and abandonment and also offer support to families living in severe poverty.

Some Girlguiding units in Pembrokeshire currently sponsor a child through a monthly donation and the recent international day raised just under £200 for the charity.

Thanks go to the girls for their enthusiasm during the day and to the guiding leaders across the county for giving up their time to support the event.
