The owners of Tenby’s Giltar Hotel celebrated their 10th anniversary recently with a charity night in aid of the town’s RNLI.
The Giltar’s Greatest Show was a superb two-course meal and a live tribute to the musical ‘The Greatest Showman’ which raised £1,000 for the resort’s heroes of the sea.
“We had a fantastic celebration,” said Malcolm Brace and Patrick Jenkins, who have been at the helm of the hotel since 2009.
“We were so pleased to have a full house for the evening with everyone enjoying a wonderful night for an excellent local cause.
“The restaurant was a real musical theatre with ‘This is Me,’ ‘Rewrite the Stars’ and all the musical’s favourites performed by the renowned Jimi Webb, who also entertained with hits from Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble and many other greats from the world of music.
“The hotel enjoys panoramic views of the sea, but we are only too well aware of the bravery and heroic actions of the RNLI crew and were pleased to support their valuable work by making a profitable donation from the evening.”
A formal cheque presentation to Tenby RNLI will be made shortly.
