ACTRESS and storyteller Cat Weatherill, one of the stars of the recent Pembroke Festival, is returning to the county for an evening of ghost stories in a lonely country chapel.
Having captivated festival audiences at Lamphey Palace with her medieval tales of love, longing and magic, Cat will be looking to create a different mood when she performs at Burnett's Hill Chapel, near Martletwy, on November 21.
'Ghost Whispers in the Dark' is described as 'a collection of dark and brooding tales swept up from the hearthsides of world folk tradition'.
"They may be old, but time hasn't diminished their mysterious power," said Cat, who added that she was looking forward to returning to Pembrokeshire.
"Performing at Lamphey Palace was magical, and Burnett's Hill sounds a special place as well," she said.
Cat has been invited to perform at the recently restored chapel by the Friends of Burnett's Hill, and tickets are available from the Friends and also from Pembroke Bookshop.
The performance, which starts at 7.30 pm, is suitable for everyone aged 12 and over.
