Carol Peett, the Pembrokeshire based director of the County Homesearch Company's West Wales office, which recently won the coveted Daily Mail Best Property Finder Wales Award, accompanied by two friends, Lorraine Clark and Cynthia Faulkner, raised over £1,000 recently for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. The intrepid three, sponsored by the County Homesearch's network of offices throughout the UK, as well as a number of other generous individuals, spent a freezing night locked in Pembroke Castle as part of the first ever 'Great British Ghost Hunt', a UK wide event. "It was a spine-chilling experience in all senses," said Carol. "We managed to choose the coldest night of the winter and the wind was whistling through the castle adding to the spooky atmosphere, especially in the Dungeon Tower. Although we didn't find any evidence of ghosts, the fact we raised so much money for this wonderful cause made the night extremely worthwhile."
