IF you would like to take a light-hearted look at how the rock'n'roll generation are doing in the 21st century, why not join Pearl McCabe next Friday evening at 8 pm?

This event, which is being held at Skrinkle Community Centre, Manorbier, is in aid of the Manorbier Medieval Fishponds Restoration project. The project group are currently building up funds which will be used to match grants from various public bodies for specialist reports now required to progress the project.

Pearl (also known as author Sara John) is becoming known for her light-hearted lectures which always include a great deal of wit and humour, anecdotes - many true - and a perceptive insight into the human condition.

This event is called 'Getting On' and covers a range of topics, including brown paper bags and what to do with them, eating out with friends, conditions and illnesses (some tropical), living in the past and how to go about gaining your pilot's licence (light aircraft only).

Admission, to include light refreshments, is £4.
