An extravaganza of wildlife events and activities has been organised for you to enjoy during Wales Biodiversity Week June 11-19. Join wildlife experts exploring local sites from Picton Castle Gardens to Newgale Beach. You can learn about Pembrokeshire's wildlife at any of the events organised by members of Pembrokeshire Biodiversity Partnership. This year the organisers are inviting you to take part in a sand sculpture competition at Newgale with great prizes, including half-day TYF activity voucher for two, West Wales Windsurfing half-day surf lesson, entrance to Silent World Aquarium in Tenby, and marine wildlife CD-ROMS. Explore Picton Castle Gardens and learn how to encourage wildlife in your own garden, rummage for crabs in Broad Haven's rockpools, experience close encounters with moths in Minear Woods or look out for porpoise from Strumble Head. Stroll round Caldey, Skomer or Ramsey Islands with expert wildlife guides, or watch seabirds on the water on a seabird spectacular boat trip.
