Members of the public are being urged to get moving and visit this year's Health Challenge Pembrokeshire Roadshow. The Roadshow, which will be taking place in six local communities between Wednesday, July 4, and Thursday, July 12, aims to highlight the many opportunities available to take part in physical activities. From dance classes, yoga and martial arts to sport and outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and rowing, there's something for everyone throughout the county. Clr. Sian James, cabinet member for health and well-being, said it was recommended that adults took part in 30 minutes of moderate exercise five times a week. "The Health Challenge Pembrokeshire message is that there really is something going on in communities throughout the County to suit people of all ages and interests," she said. "As well as the physical benefits, joining sports clubs and exercise classes can also increase your sense of social well-being, as it brings you into contact with neighbours and friends." School pupils and members of the public will have the opportunity to join in with many 'have a go activities' at events in Crymych on Wednesday, July 4, Neyland on Thursday, July 5, Fishguard on Saturday, July 7, St. David's on Monday July 9, Narberth on Tuesday , July 10, and Saundersfoot on Thursday, July 12.
