If you want to brush up on your filleting skills - or simply learn the basics - then Fish Week is the event for you.
Two 'Fillet with Flair' workshops with master fish craftsman Duncan Lucas will be held during this year's festival.
The professional fish craftsman will be displaying his skills and offering tips on fish filleting and shellfish preparation over two evenings at Pembrokeshire College.
In addition to these two public sessions, Duncan Lucas will also be hosting fish filleting and preparation workshops for school pupils.
He will be visiting Pembroke School, Greenhill School and Ysgol y Preseli during fish week for a series of workshops sponsored by Murco.
"One of the great things about Fish Week is that it's not just about entertainment - although there is plenty of that - it's also about learning new skills," said Fish Week organiser, Kate Morgan.
"The workshops will teach our youngsters, and others, how to fillet and prepare a wonderfully healthy food and will serve them well in years to come."
The 'Fillet with Flair' workshops will be held at Pembrokeshire College on Monday, June 29, and Tuesday, June 30, from 6.30 to 9 pm.
The hands-on, practical workshop will cost £10 (£5 for students). Participants are asked to bring their own knives, although all fish will be supplied and they can take home what they prepare.
Places are limited and booking is essential. To book a place contact Frank Shortt on 01437 753142.
Pembrokeshire Fish Week is organised by Pembrokeshire County Council and part funded through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007-2013, which is financed by the EU and the Assembly Government.
It will be launched on Saturday, June 27, and ends on July 5.
