Georgina Lloyd from Tenby will be taking part in this year’s London Marathon on April 23 to raise money for the mental health charity Heads Together.

Georgina, who suffers from depression, is taking part in the BBC1 documentary Mind over Marathon, which follows 10 people in their daily struggles to conquer mental health battles.

Georgina, who is a detective sergeant in South Wales Police, tells her story of how important it is to be open and seek help.

Georgina’s aim is to break down the stigma and barriers which surround mental health. Episode one will be aired at 9 pm BBC 1, April 20, and episode two on April 27.
