The Santa cel bun (Santa the good) account would like to thank belatedly, Rosie Swale-Pope for her generous support when she went swimming on New Year's Day in Saundersfoot.
Thank you everyone who donated towards the £160 which has been deposited into the account held by Lloyds Bank of Tenby. In due course this will be transferred to the account in the Piraeus bank of Romania Bucaresti.
The generosity of the people who care about others helps children who are suffering with cancer and are patients in the Budimex (Marie Curie) children's hospital Bucaresti.
Christmas of 2001 was very special for many of these children, to mention one, Gabriela. She spent all of her 11 years of life at the hospital. Regular readers of the Observer will remember I called her a child of great courage.
Her body was wracked with cancer and she finally succumbed in July of last year. So Christmas of 2001 was her best, given presents, fruit and sweets. Due to people who care enough to help others.
Christmas of 2002 was also a wonderful time for others too so now I'm aiming at 2003. Your generous donations can be given in at Lloyds Bank Account number 0823201. Any branch, for which I thank you.
