Tenby Museum and Art Gallery has been presented with an exceptionally generous gift from Ava Argent.

Ava recently turned five and her father, Alan, suggested that, instead of having lots of gifts from her friends, that everyone who came to her fifth birthday party should make a donation to the museum to help raise funds.

Ava visited the museum with her dad, her cousin Leo and her grandmother, well-known local artist Olivia Argent, and presented the £80 that had been raised to Mike Brew, vice-chairman of trustees.

Mike said: “This is an incredibly generous act and gift from Ava and I would like to thank her, her family and her friends who gave so kindly on her birthday and for thinking of the museum.”
