Just how special is Tenby hero Gareth Scotcher? After his amazing endurance challenges during the summer, he has raised an amazing £3,800 for charity.
Gareth, who has motor neurone disease, successfully cycled 250 miles in five days. He has now given half of the proceeds directly to MNDA through online donations, and £1,900 to the Paul Sartori Foundation.
He is seen here presenting a cheque to Toni Dorkings, fundraising co-ordinator for the Paul Sartori Foundation.
Next year, Gareth hopes to do another 'mad challenge', as he calls it. Although nothing is organised yet, Gareth hopes to pedal to Swansea by sea! He has found a suitable double pedal kayak made by Hobie, but unfortunately it costs £2,500 to buy, and as of yet, he hasn't persuaded anybody to lend him one.
Maybe someone might know somebody who can help?
