On Tuesday, October 30, there will be a meeting of the Gardeners Club... for enthusiasts when the speaker will be Tim Miles. The subject of his talk will be the 'Delights of the Kitchen Garden'. This will be a contemporary look at a traditional subject. Tim is a former curator at Heligan in Cornwall and is now head gardener at the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens. He is also on the RHS committee, is a floral and show judge, writer and broadcaster. As usual, the venue is Rudbaxton Community Hall, Crundale, starting at 2 pm. There is a large car park plus facilities for disabled people. Light refreshments will be served and, of course, guests will be very welcome. Last month, the speaker was Don Everitt, who made a welcome return to visit the club from Cheltenham. Don entertained nearly 40 members and guests with his refreshing approach to the 'Flower Arranger's Garden'. If anyone would like further information about the club and future events, please do not hesitate to contact either the chairman, Jill Foster, on 01437 751241, or the secretary, Sue Paterson- Jones, on 01646 682596.
