Too much garden waste? We can collect it!
Pembrokeshire County Council has started its garden waste collections again this week, following a break over the winter.
The annual subscription-only service uses wheeled bins which are collected from households fortnightly.
The garden waste is taken for composting which is a more environmentally friendly way of disposal than a landfill site.
Some of the benefits of using the garden waste collection service include that it helps to keep gardens tidy and is convenient and easy to use.
The service costs £41.50 this year. You can subscribe or renew your subscription by going online at www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/wasteandrecycling, visiting one of our customer service centres or ’phoning the contact centre on 01437 764551.
