A garden tea in aid of the 'Shalom House Trust' was held recently at 'Thika', Manorbier Newton. It was organised by the Manorbier Newton Community following outstanding fund-raising success the previous year for 'Shalom'. Blessed with a glorious summer day, an excellent sum of £783 was raised. Many thanks go to all the friends and visitors who supported the event, with a special thank you to Terry and Cheryl Hewitt for all their hard work, which provided a beautiful venue.
