Grandiflora Plant and Garden Centre, St. Florence, is inviting all garden lovers and RNLI supporters to tea on Thursday, April 26, at their Bramley's Tea Room from 3.30 until 5.30 pm.
Tickets, £4, available on arrival, with all proceeds going to the charity owing to Grandiflora's generosity.
There will be ongoing basket demonstrations in the working greenhouse and the owners of this unique garden centre will be on hand to answer all your gardening questions and will be testing your knowledge with a garden quiz.
The star raffle prize will be a Grandiflora hanging basket donated by the members of Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild. You may bring your own basket for replanting too.
It is going to be a very busy and interesting afternoon where you can sit with your tea beside a 100-year-old olive tree and view trees large enough to make a new garden look instantly mature. You can also visit the shop, maybe choose new season bedding plants and pots - there is something here for everyone and you will be raising funds for the RNLI. We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday, April 26, at our first event of 2012 courtesy of Grandiflora.
Lifeboat crews, lifeguard operational staff and we, fundraisers in the locality, appreciate your continued loyalty, vital to maintain the RNLI's free 24/7 rescue service.
